French Suspended By Nick Voll (August 27, 2004)
Oregon City - The Clackamas County Prosecutor who appeared in an ad against John Kerry has been suspended from his job, but not for speaking out. Al French has been the target of local protests after his appearance in a political ad questioning the the Democratic candidate's war record.
On Thursday he was placed on leave by the Clackamas County District Attorney's office. It wasn't for his statements against Kerry, but for lying about an extra-marital affair. Reports say French misled his former boss ten years ago to avoid getting fired.
French has faced a great deal of scrutiny since the ad first aired, with veterans calling for his resignation. He said in the spot that he had served with John Kerry, and that Kerry exaggerated his war record. He also signed an affidavit, swearing to tell the truth during the taping. French later admitted he had not served with Kerry, but relied on accounts from his friends.
That irked local veterans, who complained to the Oregon Bar Association. They say French violated his duty as a state official by lying on the affidavit, and can no longer be trusted.

Kerry is a monster.
When did lying about an affair become an offense to Dims anyway?

That irked local veterans None of whom served with Kerry either. I wouldn't be surprised if their veterans' status is also somewhat overblown, like that of Kerry's buddy, who was he...Al Hubbard?

This will really get the Swiftys back up. Kerry's is going to regret this big time.

It wasn't for his statements against Kerry, but for lying about an extra-marital affair.so, then, her is not qualified to work in the district attorney's office but, by democrat standards, he is qualified to be president.

Just because a TV station says doesn't mean it's true.
In fact, because a TV station/daily says it it probably means it's highly, highly distorted.

Check out rnc.org and view the 12 minute documentary they have produced about Kerry's Iraw flip flops. It is enlightening. Show it to your undecided friends.

Communists will do anything to gain power, and America has been the cherished target for 100 years...will John Kerry be the one to pluck the opal and bring it back to his master?
God help us...

What business is it for his boss to be enquiring about extramarital affairs in the first place?

And wasn't it Clinton himself who, in a textbook case of Freudian Projection, declared that the Republicans are the authors of "the politics of personal destruction"?
Once again the proof is seen that the hypocrisy of the radical left knows no bounds.

***French later admitted he had not served with Kerry, but relied on accounts from his friends.*** Depends. To a Democrat, you didn't actually serve WITH Kerry unless you were on his boat, even if you were on a naighboring boat under the same commanders.
Did French ever actually say he served with Kerry, or did he say that he was a swift boat vetand then the Dems pulled the old "Well, we don't care if you were there on the same day and same time, if you weren't actually sitting next to Kerry on his boat."
I ask because the press has a way of distorting what people say when it comes to covering up for their selected candidate. And I ask because my brother commanded a unit of two of the modern day's MK-V's yet he could only be in one at a time- would a Democrat say he didn't serve with crewman so-and-so if that crewman were on the second boat and my brother on the first? With them it all depends on what their definition of 'is' is.

For obvious reasons, you don't want someone with the power to prosecute to have a history that makes him subject to being bribed, bludgeoned, or blackmailed. In many respects, prosecutors have more power to wreck individual lives than the President. Having an extramarital affair is a bad thing. Lying about it is worse.
Employers have to trust employees in order to get work done. In many jobs, people fill out an extensive employment form when hired. It asks lots of questions. You affirm that you have answered honestly. If you lie and the employer later finds out, you can be fired, no questions asked.

So, it's true: the Brown Book rumors are true.
And the Democrat Brown Shirts, armed with the DNC Brown Books, have started their street war.

Kerry's Gestapo tactics bode very negatively for our future if he is (gasp) elected.
