I don't think you could "conceal" something like this if it occurs. I've heard the media is preparing for a "Chicago 1968" type event, with tons of camera's situated at "points of interest" meaning large open areas as close to the convention hall as possible.
I also suspect the City of New York will go to great lengths to show what that cities Finest are going up against with the "trust fund protesters" of the anti this, anti that groups.
