Thanks for the ping!
Ok, what is the reason?
If Ollie would ever run for President, I would vote for him in a heartbeat. He's intelligent, clear thinking, stands for what he believes in, stands for what I believe in, is willing to fight for the beliefs. And lastly, he has impecable character, something that NO Democrat knows anything about, except maybe Zell Miller and Joseph Lieberman, every once in awhile these 2 surprise me.
Go Ollie.
I got a feeling they are going to do something just like that. They are not going to just let the republicans have their week.
Ollie, when your phone doesn't ring you know it's Kerry not calling to apolgize.
Done right, how long do you think it would have taken to bring North Vietnam to a state matching the defeat of Iraq's armies as was achieved in 2003?
Six months?
Three months?
The longevity of that war was entirely due to arms and training supplied by the Soviets. The longevity of our efforts against the Soviet proxy forces in Vietnam set the stage and laid the groundwork for their final military defeat in Afghanistan, and their final economic collapse in the arms race.
In the very worst interpretation, we lost the battle of Vietnam, while inflicting decisive losses, and won the overall war.
Communist interrogators used the Fonda recordings, along with starvation and torture in attempting to brainwash American POWs into becoming turncoats. Upon returning to the United States, Fonda told the world press that U.S. prisoners of war were being well treated and not tortured. Her outrageous claims were later exposed when American POWs were finally freed and told of years of agonizing tortures and inhuman treatment.
Fonda was the major financial support to one of the most damaging pro-Hanoi groups called Vietnam Veterans Against the War (VVAW), which was led for a time by Robert Muller, a Vietnam veteran who had been shot in the spine. VVAW, at its peak membership, mustered about 7,000, some of whom had been indoctrinated in the "Coffee Houses." That organization was later led by Vietnam vet John Kerry, now a U.S. senator and former co-chairman of the Senate Select Committee on POW/MIA Affairs.
Apologies mean nothing when they aren't sincere. The only reason John Kerry would apologize is to stop his weakening numbers in the polls.
Thanks again for posting this - is a real eye opener.
Excellent, just excellent..........
Leni
Thanks for pinging me to this. After searching for the Unfit for Command book for more than a week, I stumbled across it at the Krogers supermarket on the Grand Parkway today, in case you're interested. I couldn't find a bookstore in our area with any stock.
Dude...decaf...this sream of cocsciousness rap is making my head hurt...use some paragraphing...
Didn't write it, just copied it...if I'd had some cafeine I might've caught it before I posted it! I thought posting the link would've explained that, sorry.
Right on the money.
For some courage and valor were daily job requirements. Every GI and Marine who walked point, landed in a hot LZ or sat beyond the wire in an LP on a moonless night demonstrated more courage than LT JG Kerry executing a lone fleeing Cong. Some of us did all of this day after day for an entire tour.
Ollie should be our next Secretary of State.
That would be great!
I think another point is that the democrats have been attempting to trash our military all over again. Since 9/11 they've been trying to re-create Viet Nam.
A recent example would be Senator Kennedy's comments about the torture chambers being re-opened in Iraq under American occupation- Did anyone on the Rat side of the isle condemn this reckless comment? Kerry? Cleland? Any of them? (I know there are other examples like this, going all the way back to 9/11, if someone wanted to look them up.)
That's why the Swifties ads are important. We are at war. We have a candidate who has a history of trashing the military, running for a party that routinely trashes the military. This is something for people to think about before they go to the voting booth in November.
We owe the Swift Boat veterans (and all Viet Nam vets ) thanks, because, if nothing else, they are helping to prevent the democrats from doing damage to the War on Terror (and todays vets), like they did in the 60's /70's.
This is precisely what was Kerry's biggest offense in 1971: he pepetuated the war by giving psychological support to the enemy. He spoke as though anyone at the time couldn'd simply watch television and see him betraying our country. The VC had TVs too, Kerry!
Sadly and seditiously, Kerry and the DNC continue this to this very day, speaking against the President and the war in Iraq, as though Al Quada didn't have the internet!! Hell, they even have their own television network now!!!
Can anyone explain this to Kerry, Kennedy, that bloated tick Micheal Moore, and the other lying neo-communists?
Just as in 1971, Kerry and his traitorous cronies are selling out our soldiers in the battlefield for personal gain.
Disgusting, dishonest, and dishonorable. Oh yeah, and UNPATRIOTIC! (I really have to stop sugarcoating my rants!)
I just got this emailed to me today. It is outstanding, send this on to everyone.
