I would think Pakistan in collusion with either China or North Korea would be the future problem. The Paks have a history of renegade cooperation with both. Some kind of move by the Paks while China makes its move on Taiwan in '08 is my guess. BTW my apologies it was the Brits who sent aid immediately after 22 June '41, and some of their aid was in the form of U.S lend lease, most particularly P39 aircraft for which the Brits had no use, but which could be used, as America discovered in the Solomons, as excellent ground support aircraft.

When it all comes down to it, I don't think China poses a threat. Our economies are just too intertwined, and what's bad for us is bad for them. We'll have disagreements, but the economic cooperation is just too much to overlook.
You're right about the Pakistanis and North Koreans, but don't forget the Saudi's. They sit on the largest oil reserves in the world, and they're a very corrupt regime with a past history of funding terroism. If that government fell, we'd be in tons of trouble.
As an aside, there was also a form of reverse lend-lease I guess. We received quite a few mosquitoes, spitfires, etc., and the rights to manufacture the Merlin engine (best aircraft engine of WWII), and an aircraft carrier for the Pacific fleet! Remember, until the Mustang/Thunderbolt came into service, American fighter pilots flying out of the UK had to fly Spitfires. The lightning was disliked by our pilots for some reason, and there wasn't anything else in the inventory that was the equal to the 109/190. The Brits also sent the russians a ton of their own ships (up to and including battleships).

Bump
I've read John Loftus's book, The Secret War Against The Jews. It mostly focus about Nazis in the Middle East. I read in the book that it talks of how Kim Philby, a Communist helped Nazis escape to the Middle East by smuggling them out. Also, the book mentions of Nazis heading to Palestine and Saudi Arabia even. I read that Nazis did go to Iran and perhaps likely Iraq.
