John O'Neil is slick in exactly the way John Kerry isn't and never will be. He answered all the tough questions as smoothly as I've ever seen them handled.

The Naval System depends on the integrity of a Naval officer. Kerry didn’t have it.

Thank you and good night.

Please.

"Slick" has a connotation of unctuousness, of being less than fully honest, as in "used car salesman", or "perjury-committing former President".

The terms poised or polished would be preferable.

I got to listen to O'Neill for an entire hour yesterday on my local talk radio station (Thanks again, Jerry!)

He's as compelling when heard live as he is on paper.

PS- Get the book. By any means necessary.

Aren't you also by implication questioning the competency of the medal eligibility determinations made by U.S. military brass? If so, aren't you in reality calling into question the authenticity of every medal awarded to every U.S. serviceman? If so, how do we differentitate the "good" medals from the "bad" medals?

And if so, isn't that an indictment of the fraternity system in general?

Geez, who knew Otter from Animal House worked at the Washington Post...

O'Neill is unswerving and unnerving in his responses. I read them all and remain impressed with his general competence regardless of his views.

O'Neill is NOT 'slick'....he's convincing because he speaks the TRUTH!

Nothing is more powerful than TRUTH!

Wow! This guy is fantastic. I read the whole transcript and he just demolishes the obviously planted questions.

O'Neill fielded tough questions very well. This will strengthen the Swiftees credibility.
