I think Cooper has the right perspective: ""If you're listening to a rock star in order to get your information on who to vote for, you're a bigger moron than they are. Why are we rock stars? Because we're morons. We sleep all day, we play music at night and very rarely do we sit around reading the Washington Journal."
For the reasons given by Cooper, we don't need Alice Cooper and we don't need Britney Spears. Only morons need people like that in order to decide how to vote. Is the republican party willing to compromise their principles in order to attract the moron vote?
I always thought that morons voted democrat by default.
You need to re-read post #8 on this thread.

Hey, votes is votes.
Now, seriously, if you think that we can elect a candidate just with the base alone, you're wrong.
I would rather appeal to the moron vote and get a President who does believe in our values and will implement conservative principles (not to mention conservative Supreme Court Justices!!), than fail to appeal to the moron vote and get stuck with President John Kerry!
