Jessica Simpson can't sing either but I wish they'd ask her instead of Spears.
You say she can't sing, but that's really just your opinion. Could you possibly say it's not your style of music instead? I'm not really a fan of Britney Spears' music either, but let's face it, she has to have SOME talent or she wouldn't have been able to be as successful as she is.
Slut bag might be a bit strong of a term. She does dress provocatively, but don't most pop stars? The world of Rosemary Clooney doesn't exist anymore. Even today's "good girls" like Jessica Simpson show a bit more skin than is probably appropriate.
No brains? She's not an idiot. She conducts herself very well in interviews and is active in the management of her career. Not bad for someone as young as she is.
Perhaps some of her morals may be questionable. I can't say I approved of her "marriage", but then again I don't approve of any of the Hollywood "fifteen minute marriages".
Don't forget Reagan's creedo: Agree with me 80% of the time and you're my friend!
All of the jets are booked coming into NYC from Miami after Sunday night.
good point
Jessica is someone who is likely to say something REALLY stupid!
A truly "hot" woman does not need to do a strip tease onstage in order to garner the attention of men. Any young talentless brainless slutbag can garner the attention of horny teenagers and dirty old men by dancing around half naked and simulating sex acts on stage.
If the republicans need that sort of image to win, then they've already lost.
Nah.
So what you are saying is that the Republicans NEED to rely upon the image of a famous brainless teenybopper slutbag in order to win in November.
Oh boy, we're in trouble now.
That's true but Spears just strikes me as a girl who has a future career in porn.
The IFI has too much time on their hands.
Re-read post #8.
We shouldn't need "Stars" to attract voters of any age! We should use "ideas", isn't that a novel thought?
Spears is an OK dancer and showperson, but leaves a bit to be desired on other areas.
You mean like, "I didn't even know buffaloes had wings!"
Still got to hand it to her though...
It's a good thought, but if we don't attact good young role models to publicize then the future of the party could be shaky.
Agreed. I'm extremely proud of my home state of TX, and extremely proud of W. But I was embarassed by the TX delegation at the 2000 convention when the "log cabin" guy took the podium (sorry, can't remember who it was). I understand the moral issue at hand, but to Mr. and Mrs. Moderate American, it just looked rude and intolerant. Hopefully there won't be a repeat when Brittney takes the stage.
There. Better.
