Few people know that Cleland's injuries were self-inflicted. You'll never hear that in the main stream media.

Once I had a hemorrhoid and I asked the Doc about putting neosporin on it. He said no, they do not put neosporin on an a$$hole.

You definite get my Laugh-of-the-Day Award...for what it's worth!

But wait guys, Neosporin can be dangerous. It's slippery and one could take a nasty fall if it got on the deck by accident.

In case someone hasn't said it already--we should be calling them his "Purple Owies."

Caught my finger between a rubber mallet and the edge of a tile of slate I was banging into the ground. You do the math, and while you're at it, wouldja mind putting me in for a Purple Heart?

I got a paper cut at work today, can I get one too?

(please?)

as a medic that served from 64-68 i don't think Neosporin was a Military ointment used for the battle field. I think Bacitracin/Neomycin (which are ingrediants in neosporin) would have been the product for field use. Minor point.

PS Pfizer lists neosproin as #1 for 25 years. Which would make it 79 as its leading role- many years after Viet Nam was over.

Man...I should of gotten a "kerry purple heart" today. I went to Barnes and Noble, to check to see if they had UNFIT TO COMMAND in, and when I opened the door to the Barnes and Noble it jammed on my little toe while wearing sandals...THE PAIN WAS EXCRUCIATING...I somehow managed to grimace thru the pain, and rearrange the Clinton autobiography and turn them around and put up a positive book about George W. Bush,The Leadership Genius of George W. Bush: 10 Common Sense Lessons from the Commander-in-Chief in front OF the Clinton Bio. When the pain subsided some, I walked over to the information desk and asked in a nice clear loud voice...DO YOU HAVE THE BOOK UNFIT TO COMMAND.

The clerk at the information booth at Barnes and Noble , with fear in her eyes, said no we do not, BUT we are getting a shipment in sometime next week. Then she added, I think the publisher did not print enough of the book. ( YOU COULD TELL SHE WAS SCARED) ...in a nice calm voice I said,"thank you, I will check next week" and hobbled out of the store.

I drove straight home, took three ibuprophen for the pain, and put my little toe on ice for several hours. The little Toe still hurts.

Thanks for posting the timeline from Kerry's website. Does it mention anything about a bee sting?

It was Bacitracin ... I heard that from the doctor who treated him on one of the radio interviews.

Did Neosporin even exist back in the late 60's?

OK, you caught me. Garrett said Bacitracin, but then said that it's the same thing as Neosporin. And I didn't know how to spell Bacitracin.

My father was killed in Korea and when I wanted to find out more about his service, I was directed where to send for the records. After much back and forth with D.C. I got a letter saying that there was a fire in St. Louis in 1972. Many records were destroyed.

How much do you want to bet that Kerry's records were among them.

I finally got in touch with someone over the internet that sent me the accident report....maybe this guy has access that could help get his records. I'll have to look his name up.

Is there a transcript or a link where we can watch & transcribe the video of this report?

The little Toe still hurts.

Conservative: "The toe still hurts."

Liberal: "I wonder how much I can get for this?"
