In a major story on Special Report with Brit Hume, Major Garrett outlined in great detail what is known about Kerry's first Purple Heart. Among the most important details...
1. It is not clear there was enemy fire
2. The Kerry Campaign cannot deny it might have been self-inflicted
3. Kerry submitted himself for the award
4. The wound was treated with nothing more than Neosporin.

If you didn't catch Special Report, try to watch it when it is repeated later tonight. The report on Kerry's first Purple Heart was outstanding.

Well, Neosporin is the king of topical antibiotics. Nothing but the best for kerry.

They need to start talking about the lawyer in the Kerry camp who has been providing legal advice to ACT and MoveAlong...IMO. "They pull a knife, we pull a gun. They send one of our's to the hospital, we send one of theirs to the morgue." Not literally ;)

Too bad he didn't use Bacitracin....his "wounds" might have healed a little faster.

3. Kerry submitted himself for the award AWOL ALERT! AWOL ALERT! They've always LIED about this!
It proves the medal was ill-gained because his commanding officers rejected it. He owes the Navy 8 months.

since they are reporting this stuff in such detail, now----I think that they have discovered and tapped the UNIT archives------such records are subject to FOIA, and the SF-180 does not shield him from exposure.
To: Rokke
Neosporin is good stuff, but was it available then?
I hope so, I'd hate for Jean Kerrie to have an infection or a scar.
To: Rokke
My mommy used to put Neosporin on my owies and booboo's too.
You know, I am not sure, but I think that my Bride used to use that stuff to treat our children's occasional episodes of diaper rash.

Do you know enough info to put in a request (heck, I might do it myself if I knew what to look for).

Neosporin is good stuff, but was it available then?I believe it was called Bacitracin. In the OCS dispensary, we used to give out as much of that as we did GI gin.
