Up until the other morning, the reaction to them has been positive (at least from those that were brave enough to express a reaction to them--lots of thumbs up by passers by and comments in parking lots--though I've noticed a few mortified looks that might have been caused by my signs).
A few days ago after I parked my car and started walking to the shop where I work, I came up to a guy standing on the sidewalk next to his mini-van and parked in the spot I normally take (the back was plastered with Kerry/Edwards and USMC stickers).
As I approached him he said, "nice sign on your car." I thought he was being complimentary and smiled, and started to say hi when he "lit off". He pointed to his bumper stickers and said "I support Kerry! Am I f**king terrorist!?!"
I said I didn't call him that, but he continued yelling at me, telling me that he served 8 years in the Marines and he is no f'n terrorist (I served 11 years in the Army, my brother 12 in the Marines, my father 8 in the Navy, and my daughter is currently in Iraq with the Army).
I remained calm as this guy yelled at me and stuck his finger in my face, hoping to get a chance to explain what I meant. But, everytime I opened my mouth to speak he got louder and madder (kinda like Chris Mathews), so I stepped aside and walked past him while he continued to hurl insults at my back. Over my shoulder as I walked away I said "that's a brilliant argument!" He hurled (screamed) a final FU! and got in his van and drove off.
And thus concluded another successful dialogue with a hardcore democrat...

Who knows, he may have served in Iraq, came home, got out of the Corps because he was sick of war. I understand that fully.
I hope that guy can watch Kerry's 1971 Senate testimony on C-SPAN tonight at 8:00. He might get a different view of Kerry regarding veterans.
Thanks for your service to our country, and please extend my sincerest gratitude to your daughter serving in Iraq now. I am very proud of her and all those brave Americans answering the cal to serve.

I'll send your regards to her. Thanks (for your service as well).
That photo is NOT from sKerry's days in country, (Vietnam). It was taken on the Mall in DC when the VVAW had gathered there to betray their fellow veterans who were still fighting in Vietnam.
The sticker serves 2 purposes:
1 - Shows visible support for "Swift Boat Veterans For Truth" to passing motorists
2 - Gets the swiftvets.com website visible to the public, so they can and find out more about 'Hanoi John' Kerry
Made by fellow FReeper disabled vet who has a bone to pick with Kerry, like we all do!
Large (24" Wide 12" Tall) like mine
Small (12" Wide 6" Tall)
