WASHINGTON (CNN) -- The nation's top Navy officer, Adm. Jeremy Michael Boorda, died Thursday from an apparently self-inflicted gunshot wound hours after learning Newsweek magazine was raising questions about the legitimacy of some of his combat medals........in the typewritten note to the sailors, Boorda explained that he took his life because of the questions raised about his wearing of "V" for valor medals on his combat ribbon from Vietnam. http://www.cnn.com/US/9605/16/boorda.6p/

Expected Kerry Kamp spin
(from another thread where Boorda came up):
"Well, Boorda killed himself because he was wearing
medals not awarded to him. Kerry wore medals actually
awarded to him. That they were obtained through
fraud does not rise to the level of suicide."
I can here Rush saying "Admiral Booooooooorda committed suicide for less than this."
"Even notorious committee stonewaller Tom Waldheim Lantos couldn't help suggesting that Livingstone should walk the plank, telling the witness in his most ominous Transylvanian accent that: At least Admiral Boorda had the decency to commit suicide."
There IS NOT and NEVER WAS a DOD authority (regulation) that allowed award of a "V" device over a Silver Star-----It is inherently a valorous award, and the "V" is redundant. The indication on his DD-214 is the fraud. He will NEVER be able to prove the "V" was officially awarded over the Silver.

Its only a matter of time until kerry stands in the sunlight over this one small facet of the medals matters. He will continue to conduct himself shamelessly and despicably until that time.
