A spokesman for John Kerry who was cited in the senator's Vietnam biography as a witness to "atrocities" in his battalion, privately revised his remarks when confronted by a colleague but has not corrected the public record.
John Hurley, national coordinator of Veterans for John Kerry and a member of the 69th Engineer Battalion in Vietnam, is cited in Douglas Brinkley's "Tour of Duty," which was published earlier this year.

Kerry's now saying the atrocities weren't committed by the Swifties but other units, which raises the question of how he saw and participated in them?

Hanoi John was actually the Scarlet Pimpernil of Vietnam.
Yeah, he was at Con Thien, Khe Shan, Hue City, MACV Compound during Tet, Marble Mt, Rock Pile, Central Highlands, he saw it all amigo.
Recommend to Hanoi John that he change his name to:
"Kerry, The Eternal Warrior.
"I went over to the other units and committed atrocities with them. It was seared, seared in my memory!"
Some of these men only served 2-4 days with hanoi john. How can you get to know any one in that amount of time? Or witness to all that they say he did.
I'm sickened by John Kerry.
Last night while watching a show about Kim Jung Ill on the history channel, it struck me that Kerry is following a tried and true tactic of dictators world wide. He's making documentaries of his "heroic" deeds done in the name of the people.
Kerry was Viet Nam's version of Lord Haw Haw.
Where's the film footage of the supposed atrocities? After all he took his state of the art 8 mm with him.
That's page 102 in the DNC playbook, read by ALL of the future Kommissars at Team Socialist. (I stole a copy and as ALL good warriors do, read it to KNOW THINE ENEMY!)
Maybe we should just start referring to Kerry as "Agent Orange"? His stories are about as plausible.

His main two tactics during his 120 days in-country were:
1. Spray and Pray.
2. Poop and Scoop.
The north Korean dictator has a problem with borders as well. In his self produced movie he claimed to have been born near the countries most sacred mountain. In reality he was born 1,000 miles away in china.
Once again Brinkley is caught by his own admission in a fabrication1. From now on, "historian" should be in scare quotes when associated with Brinkley; novelist seems to be more appropriate with the genre set to fiction.

Kerry camp now saying that he meant only that they hadn't been shot at yet in THAT PARTICULAR BOAT.

How about one of you rocket scientists asking John Hurley about the VVAW and his marching in DEWEY CANYON III with John Kerry.
