The other day, I saw a car driving around Phoenix in 110 degree weather with a bumper sticker urging people not to wear fur. Well, THERE'S a hard sell.

Can't we all just get along?
Where's the love?
Where's the tolerance?
Imagine there's no anger -- it's easy if you try.
Oh, you mean all that pablum is just meant to be one-sided and intended to disarm the opponents of the Left? While the Left itself is still allowed to behave like snarling dogs? Quel surprise!

PETA vs. Cindy Crawford -- there are some intellectual heavyweights going at it. Talk about gravitas!!

I agree 100% with PETA:
Leave the fur OFF, Cindy!

Poor Cindy, so persecuted. I volunteer to comfort her. 'Round the clock if need be!

Hey, isn't it time for somebody to show up and scream, "She's too SKINNY! FEED HER! Don't guys like CURVES anymore??" and whatnot. :^)

Similar demonstrations are planned for Gerber bars in New York, Boston, Chicago, Houston, Las Vegas and New Orleans. Nothing like a little free publicity! I believe most people will walk past and think to themselves "Morons"
Crawford's rep, Annett Wolf, fumed: "This is so unfair. She's not pretending to be anything she isn't. It's so outrageous . . .
Quit whining
Cindy was never a PETA spokesperson nor has she taken a stand against fur. She was never in a PETA campaign. All she did was one photo as a favor to Todd Oldham."
I am sure Cindy signed an agreement to go along with that one picture

I wouldn't worry about that.
Those folks are hitting the Denny's breakfast buffet at this time of day.

Threads like this almost make me crave barbecued spotted owl with snail darter sauce.
But, alas...this is Wednesday. It's manatee steak night.

Now that would be interesting! PETA would lose hands-down.

Of course, fur does look good if the era is appropriate.

No, I guess they don't. It galls me that these stick thin skeletal types would then pad, enhance, or surgically alter themselves to get the curves. But the ones with natural curves are put down as being inferior, unacceptable, whatever nasty, tacky, tasteless, vulgar, etc. you can think of. No wonder women are so unhappy with their physical images.
