Your analogy is even closer than you think. Kerry today said that when he came back from VN he became an aide on an admiral's staff in New York.
Remember the one vote needed to extend unemployment benefits? Well kerry missed that vote. Headline: kerry wants unemployed to starve to death.
How about voting against funding the war? Headline: kerry doesn't support troops (some things never change).
Anyway back to you... keep cool, it's only August and kerry doesn't have any powder left.
Pretty much right where you are right now, except that you wouldn't know as much. :(
....except for one he uses on his "prittty face".
Worth a reply. They still have the same undeserved sway.
It behooves us to replicate thier style.
No it won't. It never will. Most of the voters are working on sound bites, unfortunately. The reality is that you provide your own or die.
You buy major media outlets, or die. You Initiate major newspapers, or you lose elections. You put a lot of money and thought into it, or your cause loses. You teach the children yourself, or you lose them to the socialist, vulgar culture.
If anyone thinks that any major network will air anything other than admissions of guilt from the Bush campaign then I'd like to sell them oceanfront property in North Dakota. The only way conservatives will get any message out is to massively buy up advertising time and space to tell the American people the truth - it has to be a blitz - not one or two little commercials now an then. Even though the Swift Vets have caused a stir - the truth is still being driven into the ground and trampled. We need a new commercial a day from now to election day. We've got the Kerry campaign on the ropes and we're giving them time to catch their breath.
All true. But don't you think the sound bites will start attacking kerry's senate record. And God bless the vets. I hope they keep it going till election day. I just think President Bush's campaign will focus on where he wants to take the country and kerry's dismal senate record.
I'm sorry, but Old Media is nowhere near irrelevent - just as Old Europe isn't... oh well, okay Old Europe is but not the MSM.
You would not believe how many lemmings there are out there (many of them are my friends) who only get their brief news downloads from the three-letter networks, or from their neighborhood daily, which 9 times out of ten is about as liberal as Berkeley.
They bring up something snide about Bush or the War on Terror or Ashcroft... and then I counter with some dissenting facts. Most of the time, if they don't try to change the subject to avoid taxing their cranial cavity, they just blow it off, saying that my point is intereresting but they saw something different on tv or in the paper.
The new media is an awesome tool, but every tool needs someone to utilize it or it's useless.
I have a fear that, even though we are fired up on the inside, we are still basically lazy 21st century Americans who don't want to get out of the recliner or put down the chablis and DO SOMETHING positive. That means we could all wake up November 3rd wondering why the weasels won.
Send this to your local newspaper for a guest column!
My local newspaper wouldn't think it worthy of even toilet paper.
We're winning. It's cool. Let's not make the mistake of exploding with rage. Look how cool O'Neill is during his public appearances. Being hyper-angry might be Michael Savage's meal ticket, but it isn't going to win us any elections.
Yeah, but if Kerry and Krew gets elected, don't think for a minute that every keystroke you make won't be monitored, recorded and used against you at some point. It's coming. It's just a matter of 'how soon'. The internet will be the Kerry Kommies' way of finding dissidents and the 'evidence' against them.
Also, say goodbye to Christianity if the Kommies get in. Kerry is a Catholic in name only. Much like his medals, that's a fake.
Um, it was ENSIGN Torrey, NOT Lt... Just for the record..
When I get to the place the lies drive me crazy I pray.
You're right, and the dufus general was really an admiral. Is my entire article invalid now?? (it's late, 2:32am EDT, I'm not harping on you, just demonstrating the idiocy of the MSM).
suPRESS. I LOVE IT!
