I agree. I tried defending equestrian events in the Olympics to my father-in-law, I couldn't, so now I agree with him.

Have you ever played beach volleyball?

Yes I have, although not professionally, or even at any real level of competition. I've played it casually, with 4 on 4. It's one heck of a workout. I can't imagine how anyone could ever say that it's not a sport.

and at the level these ladies play, it's really something to watch.

Mark

Another day, another dollar, eh Doc?

Well, sometimes you walk out of that room thinking to yourself, "I sure earned that dollar!" ;-)

I agree. I consider myself somewhat athletic, but the one and only time I played beach volleyball I was stunned by how difficult it was to move on the sand. I was totally embarrassed! (It was a company sponsored competition, so you can IMAGINE my humiliation!).

I know, I've seen the pictures!

Though, I have to admit, Jennie Finch is something else entirely.

I don't know if any of her pictures have been posted on this thread yet, but if not, they really need to be.

STAT!

I agree 100 percent. You could call jello wrestling a sport and say "It's real hard" but it isn't a sport. This eye candy fest is only there to get a few people to watch the olympics.

It's a sport, just because there are other good reasons to watch doesn't make it not a sport. You've got a ball, rules, uniforms, and a contest. That makes it a sport.

Since transexuals have been allowed to compete as women, for the first time this go-'round we're going to have to examine all these photos very carefully.

Indeed.

Though, I have no doubts about Amy Acuff's sexuality.

Those photos are legit.

She's all woman!

Hugh Hefner may be a senile, doddering old fool, but he's definitely left that organization in capable hands.
