Good. With their recent comments about Bush and our country in general...I hope they get destroyed. Put them back on earth and get humbled.

I was enthused about the Iraqis winning as far as they have until they started opening their big mouths and showing their pathetic ingratitude.
Some people just can't stand prosperity...

I say we torture them if they lose, and keep saying "Hey, you don't seem to appreciate what we've done for ya, so... SCREAM! YOU LIKE THAT, HUH? I SAID SCREAM! BWAAAAAAAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA..."
Oops. Sorry, never mind. Now, where the heck are my meds?

Buncha ungrateful @ssholes; too bad we couldn't get them to play our women's softball team.

Folks, just because some hungry journalists are exploiting a couple of Iraqi athletes doesn't mean they are talking for the whole team or the Iraqi people.
The same journalists do the same thing with soldiers and sailors; that doesn't make the Armed Forces anti-American.
Keep it in perspective; the Iraqi's are free and being exploited by liberal reporters if part of freedom.

The CIA must have been ordered to stop spiking the other teams water.

C'mon guys. Let's not stoop to their level.
We gotta remember that we don't know what life was like for them under Saddam and Uday. PLUS we have to remember that their news sources are NOT FR or even FOX.
Yeah, they're being ungrateful jerks. But they do NOT speak for the majority of the countrymen anymore than Babs or Michael Moron do for us.

Sheesh! I'm an idiot. I just realized where you're posting from. So you've got a very different perspective than I.
Thanks for what you are doing on our behalf, and seriesly on behalf of all free people around the world.
Have we sent you a Hobbit Hole Knife? FReepmail me if you want to know more.

One player said, and this is a confirmed quote, that he would be "fighting with the insurgents" if he wasn't in Athens playing soccer. Anotherwords, he would be trying to kill American soldiers. Other players and the coach have expressed similar sentiments. It is not the media's fault - there are enough of these f***ers on the team for all of us to wish they get their asses kicked and sent back home, so they can hook up again with their terrorist friends and get killed.
To: MikeinIraq
I hope the surly ingrates get the snot kicked out of them by Portugal.

There have been a bunch of FReepers pissing me off by assuming that what 2 idiots on the team claim is representative of the team as a whole.

We've had more military people on TV saying worse. I guess we should throw the ungratful Armed Forces out of the country.
Like I said on one of these threads, I'm more angry over our pampered and so-called Dream Team.
To: MikeinIraq
It was nice to see them go so far, despite what they said about the President.
However, it was inevitable that some South American team was going to run roughshod over them before the semi-finals.

I'm glad that they've done as well as they have, but I do wish that some of them who were quoted recently didn't feel that Americans are so bad.
Keep up your good work, Mike! I will keep your and yours in my prayers!
