Now, what do you think of Baldwin's willingness to get paid working as a bad cop in a film that glorifies the gangsta lifestyle and is being funded by a pornographer? As I said, I have seen the paperwork that expresses (over his own signature) Baldwin's intent to appear in the film. Sound like a conservative Christian to you?

Is it a porno movie? I doubt it. So he is making a movie in which he has to portray a bad guy, or even a non christian. Big deal. It's a MOVIE.
The characters actors portray in movies are a vast difference from how they actually live their lives. He might be able to call upon his life in the past for experience, but it is still a movie. How he lives his real life is more important than the character portrayals he may have in films.
You're admittedly setting up a strawman here. While a couple of folks might be going googly-eyed simply because a) He is a Christian and b) He's going to the GOP Convention, most of the rest of us recognize Baldwin is a flawed human being same as anyone else, and take the above mentioned things for what they are.
