Vanity: Alan Keyes for Senate

I'll make this short and sweet (kinda like this is your brain, this is your brain on crack - any questions?).

a) Alan Keyes is an America loving, Constitution loving, Liberty loving, pro-life ultra conservative. We'd be ^damned lucky to have him in the Senate if we could get him there.

b) Barack Obama is an America hating, pro-abortion socialist communist. It'll be a dark day for America if he's elected.

Osama Obama is funded by George Soros, the international financial manipulator, destroyer and looter of entire countries, promoter of "gay rights", Christian-hater, Serb-hater, Israel hater, kigpin of the New World Order, and perhaps the most dangerous man in the world. Obama is nothing more than a Manchurian Candidate, and even liberals in Illinois should refuse to vote for him if they value American independence and freedom even a little bit!

Read Carefully:
I don't like the reparations paid to Japanese Americans. I used to, until I found out the that fear of Imperial Japanese sympathizers among that population was firmly grounded in reality.

As far as I'm concerned the internment of the Japanese was justified. I am sorry we paid these reparations. However, I can see their point; most were innocent and they did lose property.

As for the rest, I don't care who is "responsible" for slavery. Slaves were imported before there was a United States, and the first slave holder in the colony was another black (prior to that, even black slaves were indentured just like whites).

Can you imagine being someone else's property? Can you imagine the psychological damage that would do to a whole culture? Can you imagine what happens to that culture's psyche to come from ancestors who were stripped of their identity, heritage, family life, and the ability even to own property to pass on to their children?

Imagine being dead. That is what would have happened to those blacks if they weren't shipped to the colonies. Blacks who were sold into slavery in this country were lucky. Black Africans had a short way with excess prisoners.
Besides, in case you haven't notice their whole culture was based on slavery, too. If they weren't slaves here, they would have been slaves in Africa. Guess where they were better off?

Tell ya what. Why don't you ask the people who originally captured and sold the slaves to pay the reparations: the blacks and Arabs of Africa.

Maybe addressing people's concerns would be a cooler idea than posting that graphic on every thread. I mean, a guy who believes he can best Michael Medved in a debate ought to have no problem with that, right? ; )

I have to either believe that Alan Keyes has totally abandoned the Conservatism that he has always championed......or maybe the media is twisting something to fool dim-witted Conservatives....

Well, it is not the answer for everything, but it is an answer I like for a lot of things. That is the message that would get me to vote for him, not tax cut "reparations."

He has preached that message for YEARS. He needs more than just you. He is likely (I don't really understand him??) attempting to create a BIG SPLASH, while counting on Conservatives who have known him for years to keep their heads.

Racially assessed tax cuts ain't the splash he needs.
I LIKE tax cuts. Starve the gub'mint for money and might behave itself (so I'm an optimist...). Let folks keep their money and the economy grows. But set it up so that tax cuts are allowed based on ancestry and all you get is enmity one side and self-righteousness on the other. This simply was not the route to go.
