The Kerry/Edwards response to criticism is censorship. The idea that men who served this country honorably and with distinction would have the gall to question John Kerrys brief four months in Vietnam is the height of hypocrisy. One Kerry spokesman on the Sunday Fox News program was asked what evidence he had of Kerrys Christmas Day secret mission into Cambodia. His response was if John Kerry says it happened, then it happened! end of discussion. An arrogance that typifies the aristocratic air of John Kerry and the Kerry/Edwards campaign.
John Kerry and the Democratic team call for the President to use his influence to stop the Swift boat ads and ask the publisher to stop distributing the book Unfit for Command. They imply that these ads and the publication of a book, which use to be considered protected free speech, are being financed and directed by the White House and the Republican Party. However, is John Kerry, and the Kerry/Edwards team, disassociating himself from Fahrenheit 911 or the book Dude, Wheres My Country or the dozen or so other anti-Bush books ,which are filled with salacious lies and distortions of George W. Bush. No, they give the Producer Michael Moore a place of honor, even seating him in the prestigious Presidential box, at the Democratic Convention in Boston.
When it comes to criticism and outright lies about George W. Bush and his administration it is considered free speech by John Kerry and his supporters. Yet any criticism of John Kerry is met with threats of lawsuits and calls for censorship. The Kerry criticism could be resolved with the release of his military medical records, as he has refused to do. Also he has refused to release his military records, records of the investigation conducted about his antiwar and anti-American activities, and his families IRS records. All of which bring into question the character of the man who wants to be our next President.

You must be speaking of John Hurley, national director of Veterans for Kerry. I watched him spin yesterday and had the same reaction as you. Funny how Hurley always seems to be the counter-point speaker across from a Swiftboat Veteran rather than one of Kerry's band-o-brothers.
The left leaning press couldn't show enough of that LIAR, Richard Clarke, despite the fact that his testimony to the intelligence committee was 180 degrees the opposite of what was in his anti Bush book. STILL waiting for the press to admit they helped shill his lies!
which use to be considered protected free speech
Tch tch tch...... what would an English teacher say about this?
Sorry, folks..... I just couldn't help myself.
=)
Kerry wants to portray himself as a "victim" of Republican aggression and conspiracy so as to appear to be worthy of the support of socialists. Class warfare, victimization, makes him appear to be worthy even though he is worth millions and his backers are also rich. Kerry the victim is a smokescreen.
