I cannot believe my ears. I was just watching Hannity and Colmes and a Democratic pundit named MaryAnne Marsh just said that President Bush "Betrayed his country by not serving in Vietnam."

John Kerry betrayed his country and his brothers when he returned from Vietnam.

The lefties continue to demonstrate a willingness to say bizarre things . . . and reveal a continuing willingness to turn language upside down.

what we're seeing is the self-destruction of the 'rats...most of them hate the military, and seemingly hate us veterans even more; yet they try to pretend they like us in order to get our votes (oh, btw, they also think we're stupid enough to believe them). The thing is, they have no idea of the military or veterans' perspectives on things and thus continually shoot themselves in the foot publicly (just as you noted) when they try to talk about anything of a military nature...it would be funny if it wasn't so pathetic and frustrating, no?

What do you suppose Ms. Marsh would call somebody who came back from the war, more quickly than most, trashed his fellow vets by calling them war criminals and threw his (or somebody else's) medals away? Presidential material, I guess!
The dems are sounding dumber and dumber by the minute!

Bush may have not served over in Viet Nam, but he never was anti-Viet Nam while in America.
He didn't throw his medals.
He didn't plan to assasinate Senators.
According to Robert Kennedy, the anti-Viet Nam war protestors gave aid and comfort to the enemy.
The Democrats are in damage-control mode now. Kerry's communist sympathy has finally caught up with him. Be sure your sins...

Yup. And this dumb dame is a big Clinton apologist.
I am in absolute awe over these people.
To: HawaiianGecko
Let them talk. They are self-destructing. You can always tell when the rhetoric gets heated, that the Dems are losing.

Hmmm; she was one of the premiere Clinton apologists. Somehow I don't recall her saying anything about him betraying his country.
I guess the media forgot to inform us of Bill's service in Viet Nam.

(After 20 years in the Senate, all Kerry has to run on is 4 months of service in Viet Nam.)

And Hannity said what if anything in response?
How about Colmes?
To: HawaiianGecko
I heard that too. Sean responded well - however - Sean - if you're listening, whenever a Dim Dem says something stupid like that, you should say, "Do you know how ridiculous and stupid that sounds? I'll respect your integrity and honesty if you'll admit you made a mistake".
I would have then asked her if she served in Viet Nam.
That's what I would have said.

Well all of you out there that had Honorable service in the National Guard are now Traitors, according to the Democratic Party, because you didn't go to Vietnam and serve.
I for one am certainly glad of that new verification of what a Traitor can be.
Has the Democratic Party gone totally bonkers?
30 odd years ago they turned against the War in Vietnam and just about encouraged, with John Kerry's help when he came back, for people to treat Military people, returning Vets especially, with contempt and be Spit upon.
Now they embrace the war and John Kerry, man where does the Hypocrisy stop. As Doc Holiday said in "Tombstone", "Wyatt my hypocrisy only goes so far".

During the 1996 election, Marsh served as the GOTV director for the Massachusetts Democratic Party, which resulted in the defeat of two Republican Congressmen, the re-election of United States Senator John F. Kerry, and the largest plurality for President Clinton in the country.
During the 1994 election cycle, her clients included United States Senator Edward M. Kennedy and every Democratic member of the House of Representatives?
