The Gaobot virus is attacking - since I logged on at 9 am. Thank God I have Norton! But the attack is relentless and it annoying.

I had to relinquish the computer to a child and I'm just catching up. What in the world is the Gaobot virus. I have Norton too, but that sounds not determinative. Eeegad, do not take away my FR.

I got that virus alert the other day while online - I had NO idea how it got onto my PC because I don't open executable files; it was a "ReadMe.exe" file.

Do you know how they climb into the hard drive?
