This is great because he called for both sides to stop all ads at once. Why is that great? I don't think any of them should be told by the gubmint to stop their ads. What about free speech?
He knows the Left will not stop their ads, so he has nothing to worry about, but he gets credit for calling off the attack dogs.
Yes, his transparent duplicity is so refreshingly...just like everyone else in DC.
But he did NOT call them off AND all he really did was point out skerry's hypocrisy.
And his own.

Bush calls for halt to Swift Boat vets' ads
Shouldn't that headline read as follows? Bush calls for halt to ALL 527 ads
But hey, maybe that's just me. You know the citizens are starting to wake up to the mainstream media liberal bias. But you guys just keeping digging yourself deeper. Pretty soon no one is going to listen at all. If I were you, I would report just the facts. But journalists are so far out there that you only hear and see what you want and not what is actually presented to you.

"Why is that great? I don't think any of them should be told by the gubmint to stop their ads. What about free speech?"I assume your IQ is over the double digit mark, so you should know full well that the president is not proposing that the gubmint ban the ads. This is the only way he can counter attack Kerry for attacking HIM on the swift boat vets' ads rather than answer the charges.

Bush is a PR master and has managed, like Reagan, to confound and bypass the lamestream media, despite their influence and their collusion with the Democrites.
