First Norm Coleman, now Kelly. Is there something about St. Paul mayors that make them come around when they're actually in office?

Something in the water here!!!

I really think that St Paul's traditional blue-collar population is more Republican that our local media would like the world to think; our leaders know this, hence their 'rightward' turn. They know who 'butters their bread", so to speak.

if your liberal demonrat and a Jeffords type does this,
it's called "maturing" or "growing in office".
Coleman got elected 1st as a dem, then again as a republican,so I believe it was due to keeping a lid on taxes, not just party affiliation.
