i was in the marines from 74-81. the closest i got to vietnam was a year on Okinawa.
nobody, but nobody, was stupid enough to let the Doc write that you had the clap in your SRB. that would show as a huge negative in your promotion review. we were supposed to be officers and gentlemen who should be above all that.
the treating physician should be asked what he treated the NSUTI with. if the answer is 1000ml of penicillin, we have a winner.
