Which "programs" would these be? The Border Patrol?

Well seeing as how the current Border Patrol is not even making a dent in the rate of illegal immigration from Mexico, I assume Tancredo's solution would have to involve a dramatic increase in the size of the Border Patrol, INS, etc., into something so far and away larger than those entities that it really wouldn't even resemble them as they currently exist.

So in other words you're back to confirming his point that he "strongly opposes" illegal immigration, not immigration in general. Thanks for letting me watch you chase your tail.

By the way, if we had anywhere near as many people patrolling our own borders as we do patrolling Bosnia's borders, we could very well do more than "make a dent" in illegal immigration.

Not at all. He's so totally opposed to immigration that he's willing to spend billions and drastically increase the powers and size of the federal government to restrict it.

By the way, if we had anywhere near as many people patrolling our own borders as we do patrolling Bosnia's borders, we could very well do more than "make a dent" in illegal immigration.

Probably, and then how many Mexicans would you allow to immigrate to the US? (Your not being opposed to immigration and all...)

If you mean Perry from Texas, that hair combing, do nothing, RINO, weenie will be VERY lucky to win re election here.

Only if he loses in the GOP primary. Probably ain't gonna happen. And definitely ain't gonna lose to any Dem.

If you don't think he can lose the primary, and three or four people are looking at running against him, you're talking to different people than I am. I took a rough poll of the Ft Bend County part of Senatorial District 17's Convention and his support was about 25%.

Perry took on the homosexual lobby. Why is he a RINO?

We in NE agree with you. Front page headlines last week said us "right" wings won't let him win. There right.

If they're serious about actually improving this country, they need to have the guts to run in Republicans primaries.

Ding-ding-ding-ding! Give the lady a prize! First prize at that! The fools chanting 'Bush Isn't Good Enough' should listen. Listen hard, and think about what they are doing. Not their intentions, but the real effect of their actions.

Why is he a RINO?

well lets see, he supports liberal judges against conservative ones. He veto's laws and can't tell you why. He gets 4 laws on his desk that are a package deal worked out between his office, the legislature and Sugar Land, and veto's two of them. He fails to support tax reduction. Goodness there are so many reasons.

GOPc you want to answer this?

Yea, and I would probably be voting for them if they would run in Republican primaries.

Me, too. And working on their campaigns. And if they lost in the primary I would almost certainly vote for the (R) that won.

You got it. We only have two teams playing this game--the Elephants and the Donkeys. My team is the Elephants. I have to hold my nose sometimes but it's the only way.
