LOL! Snoopy is my dog. He does all my typing (that way I can't be blamed for typos :) and he thinks sKerry is an unelectable slimeball too! And Woodstock regularly chimes in with good ideas also.

I think we are reading into this what we want. I think he is doing what he has to. I do not believe it is desperation, and with the willing accomplicies in the media it is no surety that he will drop markedly in the polls.
The first ad they ran (swifties) was not nearly as good as this last one. The last one with the POWs is perfect. Focuses the debate squarley between Kerry and the POWs. Kerry will get killed by these ads if they can get alot of airtime in the battleground states.

I kinda belive this article. ***The original plan was to let the press handle it***
If you all remember back in early spring, the Swift vets had a press conference or something that the press was invited to attend. The press was there but did not publicize the swift vets. Big Mistake!!! This was,IMO, the Dems first attempt to handle the swift vets by ignoring them.

Quite frankly, I think the press needs to be very, very careful. This is not a war between the Republicans and Democrats. This is a war between the swift vets and Kerry. There is no doubt in my mind that the press will try to smear all of the swift vets.
The press has been out-manuevered and out-foxed already by the swift vets. With the negative press, the swift vets are making headlines.
