[Old Sarge]

Greetings, Canteeners, Troops,
and All the Ships at Sea!

And Happy Monday to all my fellow residents of Prairie Dog Village! Sarge is back in the cubes, after an up-and-down roller-coaster Drill Weekend. Sarge had to do, for the first time, the duty of Casualty Assistance NCO, so that was not fun. Drill was Recovery from the last AT, so that was not fun, either.

And to make things REALLY strange, I get up this morning, and I'm wondering, why are there shamrocks all over my keyboard again?!?

Well, anyway, in keeping with the thread today, Sarge enjoys one great seasonal (but for Sarge, ANYTIME is good) dessert, and that's Pumpkin Pie and Coffee! Especially after a hearty meal of ribeye (ultra-rare) and potatoes (real & mashed), washed down with a cold longneck.

So now, on to the Personals:

TONKIN/FAWNN: This looks like it'll be a really great thread today, Skipper! And Auntie, I "smell" your hand at work, don't I?? (G)

BLACKIE: Hoping your convalescence is proceeding according to plan...

TO MY BRETHREN UNDER ARMS: Today, like every day, all y'all are welcome here to this place we call home. The Canteen is yours, and mine, and the place for all to see, and laugh, and just have a good time. Bear that in mind, as your duty day goes on.
