I like dessert.......
For several years I have studied the art of making pecan pie.
My favorite is pecan pie made to my specifications with my own hand.

Re biscuits, short cake......
The Pillsbury frozen biscuits now available are excellant for this purpose.
Your description was right on except......
Butter the split biscuits, sprinkle a little sugar and then put in the oven till the butter melts. Then add the sweetened strawberies to the biscuit in the soup bowl.
