I am still waiting for India to create something.

Actually, Indians have made significant original contributions in mathematics.

Just recently, Dr. Aggarwal and two students at IIT solved one of the oldest open problems in mathematics.

The Indian mathematician Ramanujan was one of the greatest mathematicians ever, a real wild talent. His collaboration with Hardy and Littlewood is one of the great stories in mathematics of the last two hundred years.

Are there any commercial applications of their discovery--say, in encryption?

[Other countries may have caught up with the US on nukes
but we still have WAY more lawyers ;-) ]
