What John Kerry is expecting those on active duty to believe

============================================

My son-in-law is one of those who would have to salute John Kerry as his commander in chief. We are praying that doesn't happen.

What is John Kerry expecting those on active duty to believe?

He wants them to believe that if a strategic ally is invaded and that it is in our national interest, he will actually do something about it. Please, guys, forget about my vote against removing Saddam Hussein from Kuwait.

He wants them to believe he will adequately fund them. Please, guys, forget about my no vote on the $87 billion.

He wants them to believe that they will have the best and latest weapons for maximum firepower. Please, guys, forget about all of those votes against the major weapons systems we use today.

He wants them to believe they should use his example and serve their nation honorably. Please, guys, forget that I made up war stories, recreated scenes on film for my resume, and turned in phony reports so that I could get undeserved medals.

He wants them to believe he will stand behind them as commander in chief. Please, guys, forget that I stood up in front of Congress and the world to lie about my comrades in arms.

He wants them to believe he will show strength and determination to a potential enemy. Please, guys, forget that I was for a nuclear freeze.

He wants them to believe that he would pick the best people to advise him. Please, guys, forget that the pants burglar Sandy Berger was my top advisor on foreign policy.

He wants them to believe that he will always fight for the interest of the United States. Please, guys, forget that I am held in great esteem and in a place of honor in the commie museum for helping them defeat the U.S.

He wants them to believe they can always count on him. Please, guys, forget that soldiers were tortured while the torturers used my words against them.

No, John F. Kerry, you are an unthinkable commander in chief. You sold out your comrades. You sold our your nation. You enhanced your own phony record. You voted against our most important weapons systems. You think that you should be the commander in chief?

Reporting for duty, my butt.

John Effin Kerry, no effin way!

Kerry sold out his shipmates, brothers in arms, Vietnam combat veterans, POWs,MIAs, and their families...he befriended and lobbied for our enemies while.....he was a reserve officer in the U.S. Navy

He lied about events, falsified official Navy documents and left his shipmates to contend with their enemies by finagling a way out of the war and into safe stateside duty...

He is not fit to command the U.S. Military or serve as POTUS now or ever....

Those in the active duty military dare not trust John F Kerry....betrayal comes far too easy for him...he cares not for his nation, it's servicemen or veterans

imo

Here is the kind of lier that Kerry is:

Kerry titles his book "Tour of Duty" for his service in Vietnam. He also claims that he had TWO tours of duty in Vietnam (because of his time on the USS Gridley)

Kerry twists the truth so much, you have to watch EVERY WORD HE SAYS. He will lie to you and weave a story (lie) so subtly that you are unaware that he is taking you down the prim-rosed path.

Here is the truth as compared to Kerry's lies. KERRY NEVER EVEN SERVED ONE TOUR IN VIETNAM. HE IS A LIER.

Yes he was in Vietnam (for 4 months) and yes he was on the deep water coast of Vietnam on the USS Gridley (for 5 weeks)but he did not serve a tour in Vietnam.

A Tour in the Nam was 12 months, one year, 365 days, one circle around the sun. Guys would count down the days until their time was up. It was a big deal. When you only had a few weeks to go until your year was up, you were "SHORT", going home soon.

This issue is important for this reason. John Kerry knows that he didn't serve a Tour, let alone TWO Tours, yet he brazenly reports that he did, he lies. Kerry lies about almost everything. That's my point. He can not be trusted.

One might argue 'Well, the time that Kerry spent in Nam was HIS tour, so what is the big deal". If that is your argument then Kerry should have named his book "My Time in Nam" or something. Not lie and give the impression that he spent a tour in Nam. AND, there is NO excuse for his claim for TWO TOURS in Nam, my God. What a lier.

Kerry's lies smack of Michael Mooreism.

As far as Unfit for Command is concerned, I have read it. The Swifties could give a crap less if John Kerry got medals, their issue is the same as what I explained above (and the fact that Kerry smeared their good name with lies) and that is that Kerry can not be trusted. He is unfit for command.

My son, also.

I had to serve under both Carter and Clinton.

I want my son to salute his CINC out of respect, and not because he was ordered to.

Great article ...I would hope you send it to major newspapers as a guest editorial...including USA today...
I might suggest you alter the last line, however, as I'm sure the editors would likely not allow that - but I wholeheartedly agree with your sentiment.
What could be worse, a draft-dodging military "loathing" commander-in-chief, or a turncoat, enemy-assisting, publicity seeking malcontent!

Shame on the RAT party for ever bringing forward Clinton and Kerry as their candidate. That party is totally bankrupt.

A reasonable suggestion for the ending. :)

Excellent post! I suspect that before tomorrow, it will have circled the globe a couple times over via e-mail lists. ;-)

I hope that "UN Navy" is a typo.
