I'm in Laguna Beach in south Orange County, and it's gorgeous down here. Just checked the Weather Channel report for LA and the map looks clear all over the area. I have no idea where they're getting that.

Looks to me as if Drudge has a story coming about an erroneous weather warning which spooked some people. The weather there is benign... 70s, zero chance of precip, 5 mph breeze, nothing alarming on radar or in the forecast. I'll bet some yahoo hit the wrong button and sent out a pre-recorded tornado warning by mistake.
