Really? It's a beautiful uneventful day here in Los Angeles. I'm in the Hollywood Hills.

To: Vigilanteman
Please let it hit Hollywood. If only Bin Laden had chosen Hollywood to attack on 9/11.

I believe the Weather Service made an error and told LA a tornado was heading that way. Accordingly, Drudge's headline is saying the Weather Service really screwed up today.

It's bright and sunny, not a cloud in the sky.
(West side of LA, near the beach)
A couple of weeks ago, they had an urgent warning across our TV screen, warning of a major thunderstorm, never happened.
So I am not getting excited over this one.

Massachusetts had one in 1953 that killed 93 people.
Very rare,and very deadly.

Just remember that there is a large contingent of FReepers in the LA area. Also, when someone gets the urge to knock California again in their post, I urge then to look at the address for FR. That is all.

The city of
Cincinnati Los Angeles has just been attacked by the godless...tornadoes! Citizens are advised to arm themselves immediately.
I wish they would release that episode of WKRP on DVD.

so, 30 hours ago they said there was no tornado....
Drudge must have a long delay on his emergency alert email or something....

While posting sarcastic replies is fun, I'd sugggest that since we know this is false, it should be pulled before alarming others.
