I love you post...You have a Siamese? We had a Siamese when I was a kid-Sheba- she lived to be 24 years old. What a great cat-my Mom had her declawed after she shredded a brocade couch (only took her a week/we only had her for a week at the time). She still climbed trees (tried to make her an inside cat, but she refused in the classic Siamese cat way), and terrorized all cats/dogs in our neighborhood. she particularly loved my youngest brother and used to follow him to school (made the children laugh and play). My Mom received many calls from the principal requesting that she come pick up the cat. when Sheba was about 12 years old, we had an attempted burglary. At the time, we had a huge Great Pyrenees (named Lady). Lady didn't even bark (Lady was known only to hate one person in the entire world- the UPS man) but the cat attacked the bad guy-with plenty of Siamese shrieks. My brother got his gun, but the guy was long gone-left a few blood smears on the floor though. We gave that cat liver (her favorite) for some time. I am getting a Siamese someday. We have a black and white cat that adopted us. I don't want to hurt his feelings by getting another cat. Simba is a great cat. In fact, he has some Siamese traits. Enjoyed your post-LOL.
