George W. Bush, 1970-'71
John F. Kerry, 1970-'71
Well, I didn't notice the unibrow, but now that you mention
it...It's a good thing!
"Didn't W volunteer to fly in Vietnam? I thought I remembered something about not having enough hours in the cockpit to qualify for combat."
You did. George W Bush volunteered for flying duty in Nam but was denied because of his lack of time in the type of aircraft flown in Nam. The F102 was not in Nam.
IOW - the Kerry minions are lying again when they claim that Kerry volunteered for Nam, but Bush didn't........
BUMP FOR THE SUPPORT OF SWIFT VETS HERE... http://www.swiftvets.com/
Very True.
He volunteered for the Palace Alert program.
Here are some links where it is mentioned...

Was his Dad connectd with the CIA at this time or was it prior to W's service?
Well...I don't know, such lefties as Redford, Newman, and Harry Belafonte have aged quite well.
bump
Y'all shouldn't be showing this picture...it upped the temperature in this room by about 15 degrees. Where's that window?
I PRAY that he will be President again. The thought of Tee-ray-za & Lurch in the White House makes me ill.
His dad was head of the CIA under Ford which I think would be after he was through his service time.
He is so freakin' handsome.
OT: Baby tomorrow or is s/he here already?
>>>> George W Bush volunteered for flying duty in Nam but was denied because of his lack of time in the type of aircraft flown in Nam. The F102 was not in Nam.
I think that was an absolutely brilliant move by the President. He should make more of the fact that he volunteered to fly in Nam.
I heard that he did volunteer to go but the plane he was qualified to fly was phased out so he wasn't sent
Unibrows are supposed to be a sign of virility....:)
Really?
Nice pic, Anny!
I have always loved a man in uniform....GI's, cops, firemen....sigh! My hubby is a vet of 20 years USAF, so I was lucky! ;) My dad was a 27 year veteran, and did serve in Vietnam for 18 months. He despises John Kerry and all that he stands for.
