The Islamofascists in Pakistan are intimately tied to the only force holding Pakistan together-the army & intelligence service(ISI).The army started an Islamisation drive under General Zia Ul Haq(Mush's mentor) during the Afghan war of the 1980s.Officers who once learned at Sandhurst & drank whisky now grew long beards & went to devotional gatherings & the ISI (funded by Saudi money) organised various camps for Mujahideen(oops sorry,terrorists)-the various Islamic groupings in Pakistan are the offsprings of that policy. You cannot beat the ISlamofascits without drastically reforming & defanging the army & ISI(Called the "State within the State")-if I'm deeply suspicious about Mush,it is on his commitment to reform the army.

"A diesel-electrical submarine has to surface to periscope depth to recharge the batteries using the diesel engine, leading to increased risk of detection. The MESMA air-independent propulsion system, being fitted to the Agosta 90B submarines for Pakistan, allows the submarine to remain submerged three times longer. The MESMA system consists essentially of a turbine receiving high-pressure steam from a combustion chamber, burning a gaseous mixture of ethanol and liquid oxygen. The Agosta 90B's performance remains the same in all other respects, except that the length increases from 67m to 76m and submerged displacement from 1,760t to 2,050t"

The Germans use fuel cells tech as their primary source of AIP.

though they could ask the Chinese & North Koreans to help out

Most Paki stuff does have manuals in Chinese.

And China proliferates nukes to North Korea via Pak, so the CHinese can say "Who me? I don't do nuttin" while carrying on supplying its client regimes.

The Pakis got missiles from NK in exchange for nukes. All the Paki missiles are renamed NK missiles.

Unlike North Korea (who are doing it with US technology sold by the Clintons), the Pakistanis developed and tested their own bomb

*rolling on the floor with mirth* Hilarious!!! The North Koreans got the nukes from Pakiland. Clintooon was an idiot, but not that big an idiot (he would have got caught selling it to the NKs, unlike if it was sent to China). The Paki missiles are Chinese in origin and like most Chinese stuff are garbage -- out of their six "tests", 3 flumped -- as you'd expect from something with a "Made In China" stamp on it.

The Pakis just read the Chinese manuals - How to make a nook! ANd then sold them to the North Koreans while the NKs gave the Pakistanis missiles

And no one really thought 19 motivated individuals could successfully turn 4 commercial airliners into missles under our noses on September 10, 2001.

There IS a difference between hijacking aircraft and dedicating time, money and brainpower to nuclear science.

However, sayign that, it is true they could nick something or get it through the Chinese. We should eliminate this NOW by either nooking Pak or, since Mushie is being so pally, we can tell him we'll take his nukes and keep VEwwy vewwy Quiet! Smatterofact I suspect the deal has already been struck with the indians in connivance, or else why would there be such a let up in rhetoric

Ask the British and their experience in the Falklands.

Nearly 22 years ago. Things change.

"renamed NK missiles"

Painted green & named after a many piece of s***s who plundered & raped in medieval India(with the partial intention of stoking Hindu-Muslim tension in India).

What is really sad about the entire thing is that they name their missiles after folks like Mahmud Ghaur and Ghazni who were from Central Asia. They ravaged the peoples of north-west India --> most likely the ancestors of the present day pakis

Aet Bell has a guest on last evening talking about this new type of French sub now in Pakistan's hands. It has a specially designed deisel powerplant that runs on an internal Oxygen supply giving it an underwater range of 12,000 miles. Virtually undetectable to passive sonar listening devices and carrying 16 nuclear tipped cruise missles. The guest claims that Pakistan's political and military is unstable and under the influence of Osama bin Laden. France not only sold two of these subs to the Pakis, they built a 'state of the art' facility to manufacture them in Paki land.

Read my Freeper post with a link to learn about Agosta 90-B subs. Google 'Agusta 90-B' yourself if you have real interest:

Well agree with all of your statement but the 16 nuke missile part coz I honestly can't believe it as-

1.The Exocet anti-ship missiles carried on them have no land attack capability(unless it's the Exocet BLK3 variant which is 3years away from being inducted) whatsoever & their small warhead size(About 200kgs) is not ideal for nuke warheads (esp
for a technically deficient nation) + France is yet to test its 'Scalp Navale' sealaunched land attack cruise missile & given it's increasing armssales to India,I don't see the Pakis getting that.

2.Though China is heavily investing in land attack cruise missiles, they have'nt inducted any as such -so a potential sale of a nuke capable variant is a bit far off.

3.The Pakis don't have the technology to develop a land attack cruise missile ,let alone miniaturise a nuke warhead for it.They will have to wait for handouts from the Chinese or North Koreans.Their(Chinese) battlefield ballistic missiles cannot easily be fired from the torpedo tubes of a diesel sub & would be a big escalation as far as Israel & India are compared.

4.The Agosta 90B carries 16 torpedo - tube launched weapons-a combination of torpedoes & missiles.Given India's massive superiority in subs & Surface ships & an American naval presence in the region, equipping it with 16 cruise missiles is well,suicidal.........

Bell's guest claims that bin Laden does not give a hoot how many die in a U.S. counter attack on Pakistan. He said last night that over 50% of the Pakis support al Qaeda and dying as martyrs in the only way for Muslims to get to heaven anyway. He also claims that Mushareff (Sp?) is walking a tightrope playing al Qaeda against the U.S. That is the only way to explain how OBL has escaped U.S. and Paki searches for him. He says that Pakistan's security forces are active in al Qaeda.

Also, Google the sub itself "Agosta 90-B". Pakistan has already tested small nukes suitable for delivery by this sub. The sub is armed with nuke as we speak. Conflict with India does not explain the desire of Paki land to acquire a high tech submarine capable of delivering nuke tipped cruise missles thousands of miles away. Only a U.S. target explains this logically. I just hope Bush and his White House understand the implications of Paki submarines carrying nukes. 'Nuff said.

The new drive system is explained in the body of the link in my initial comments. Although a diesel-electric, the new system allows the diesel to run and recharge batteries while submerged. Running on batteries, ultra quiet.

I agree with all you comments. That is why this new development, and your link, should be of concern.

For those who forget history: The Shah of Iran was our best ally in the area for decades (best the CIA could install!); after he was overthrown, the Iranians fielded our best technology (F-14's), that is until the lack of spare parts caught up with them.

The Pakistanis' BUILT this sub in their own shipyard, and now have the future capacity to build and maintain more....

I agree-the Pakis would love to tip nuke missiles on their subs-the point is which missile are they going to deploy nukes on-a sub needs missiles to carry nukes, doesn't it-so which missile on it is nuketipped-

1.The French Exocet(technically impossible)??
2.US harpoon(which they operate & will recieve more of soon)??
3.Chinese C-801??

& any nuclear cruise missile they can procure won't go beyond 1000kms(only Russia & Israel have nuke tipped cruise missiles with that range & both are fiercely pro-India).If you did'nt know,Pakistan would be wiped out in a Indian second strike using it's French or Russian jets or land based missiles-they DESPERATELY need second strike capability against India. While India is known to have some sort of 2nd strike capability on its Kilo class subs & Surface ships against Pakistan(which may be based on the Russian Club anti-ship/land attack cruise missile or the Israeli Turbo Popeye is which is rumoured to have been sold to India) & is also working on nuclear subs(to deter China).

Pakistan has only 3 such boats now & 4 near obsolete Daphne class subs, while India has 10 kilo class & 4 HDW type209 class subs-beats me why they would use such subs on a suicidal oneway mission all the way to the US??
Having said that US bases in Qatar & Oman & the naval facility at Diego Garcia(off the Maldives island chain) would make tempting targets for such a system.

Finished HMS Unseen last month, also good read. USS Seawolf is on my nightstand now. In this present day, truth (911) IS stranger than fiction, Clancy predicted an air attack on the Capitol, and Robinson predicts insurgent attacks on civilian airliners and 3rd world submarine attacks...

Now reading Victor Davis Hanson's history of Western Civilization, "Carnage and Culture". Hanson makes an interesting case why Western armies have overcome non-western foes throughout history from Greece to Viet Nam.
