I heard a short time ago on KFI radio in Los Angeles that Kerry supporter Jim Rassman had a problem that forced him to resign from the L.A. Sheriff's Department.
KFI's Eric Leonard said that it is not widely known outside the department, but is very widely known inside the department.
Leonard reports that Rassman took a female colleague in a sheriff's vehicle to a secluded area and "something happened." He was vague and wouldn't say what, however, she filed a complaint with the department.
Rassman was allowed to quietly resign rather than face charges.
Leonard's claim was something I never heard before. This deserves followup. He does a Saturday evening show on KFI and specializes in reporting about police issues.
The timing of this information leak is suspicious
It was a frame up. She was an undercover agent for the Kerry campaign.
This has nothing to do with the political debate.
I'm not gonna accuse him of anything until we hear more facts so let's wait before we jump
Doug, I have tremendous respect for you. But isn't this like coming up with our own brown books on Kerry's vet supporters like the DNC has come up with brown books on the Swifties?
I heard it too.
This could not possibly be the Saint Rassman we all know so well.
After all, his word is worth more than 254 Swift Vets combined, according to the MSM.
Oh,yeah. So he could turn around and blame it on Republicans.
Sexual harrassment of some kind...It will only enhance his heroic status amongst Democrats!
Besides that, he is probably being paid by Teresa.
It's likely that there is a lot of shady material out there about this man.
Are you sure that he didn't take a guy somewhere? If that's the case, he'd be courted as a hero.
LOL
I think the point here is to stop any prospect of a Kerry presidency, and not to damage the reputations of other vets who did serve the country, even if those vets are misguided enought to support Kerry.
Indiscriminate mud-slinging will backfire.
Depends on what the meaning of "something" is. And anyway, so what, it was in his private life and had no bearing on how he did his job.
"The timing of this information leak is suspicious"
Yep. Right before the Republican convention. Right when Kerry is at his most vulnerable. Time to wheel out Howard Dean.
This was a report from a respected KFI journalist. I am just passing on his report. I told you what he said and know no more about it. I'm not posting it to get him to shut up or blackmail him. I'm posting it because it was reported on KFI.
Sure it does.
Trash the victim!
I want to know why the OTHER vets for Kerry aren't on the tv shows?? Only John Hurley who WASN'T THERE!!
