Kerry "hides behind McCain" because McC is speaking at the RNC and he just wants to use his name to keep his spin intact. Kerry's counting on the hope that Americans aren't really paying attention and he can still make his fantasy become the truth. And McCain is too stupid, or too ego-centric, to understand that he is being used as a "willing accomplice" or a dupe by the DemocRATs.
