I'm at Drill - can you PING the gang?
Ping
I'm surprised the terrorists didn't do this long ago. The only reason Mexico and Central America are on alert is that they are looking out for #1. If there is a terrorist raid in America, where the terrorists have crossed the Mexican border, the American people will demand our government put soldiers there and stop the illegals. That would cause difficulty for President Fox, as he wants millions more Mexicans to flood this country in the next few years.
I don't know how our elected officials can lie down and go to sleep at night, knowing the horror they have allowed to come onto this country. And all for money, cheap labor and votes.

Then the Mexican government will have to change its pants as their tourism inductry is threatened.
Thanks Calpernia;Old Sarge for the ping.
In June, Honduran officials said Shukrijumah was spotted earlier this year at an Internet cafe in Tegucigalpa, the capital of Honduras. Panamanian officials say the pilot and alleged bombmaker passed through their country before the Sept. 11 attacks on the United States.
U.S. Attorney General John Ashcroft (news - web sites) in May singled out Shukrijumah as one of seven especially dangerous al-Qaida-linked terror figures wanted by the government, which fears a new al-Qaida attack. A $5 million reward is posted for information leading to his capture.
Mexican and U.S. border officials have been on extra alert, checking foreign passports and arresting any illegal migrants. In a sign of a growing Mexican crackdown, eight people from Armenia, Iran and Iraq (news - web sites) were arrested Thursday in Mexicali on charges they may have entered Mexico with false documents, although they did not appear to have any terrorist ties.
Jose Luis Santiago Vasconcelos, Mexico's top anti-crime prosecutor, said Mexican officials have no evidence that Shukrijumah or any other al-Qaida operatives are in Mexico. But Mexican authorities are investigating and keeping a close eye on the airports and borders."

BORDERLAND NEWS.com - EL PASO TIMES.com: "FBI LOOKS FOR POSSIBLE TERRORISTS ALONG THE BORDER." by Louie Gilot, El Paso Times (ARTICLE SNIPPET: "Officials on both sides of the border have asked law enforcement officials, including Border Patrol agents and El Paso's bridge inspectors, as well as the community at large to be on the lookout for Adnan G. El Shukrijumah, 29, a native of Saudi Arabia who may be using a Guyanese, Canadian or Trinidadian passport. Shukrijumah was spotted in Honduras earlier this year, FBI officials said, and used to reside in Trinidad and Tobago, off the coast of Latin America. "He is believed to be one of the most dangerous cell leader below the leadership of al-Qaeda who plans to hurt the United States," Art Werge, spokesman for the FBI in El Paso, said. Officials said Shukrijumah might be using immigrant-smuggling routes through Central America and Mexico to get to the border.") (August 17, 2004) (Read More...)

Mexico is feeding us much more than just lettuce, tomato, strawberry, corn, and chicken pickers.
An added bonus we get from the deal are Islamic terrorist - flowing at will with no known mechanism to stop them coming from the cesspool of our border with Mexico.
Onward Muslim Soldiers ping. (Have you ordered your "How To Speak Spanish CD ROM yet?)

Thank God we have troops in Colombia. We will need them.
Closer ties with President Fox of Mexico would help.
The recall of Hugo Chavez in Venezuela failed (a fraudulent vote count blessed by Jimmy Carter) and now Castro has oil and oil money and Hugo says he has a mandate and will spread his revolution in the region.
This makes Christopher Dodd and Ted Kennedy and all the socialists on the Hill very happy.
Bump!
We need to strengthen our ties with President Fox and work together to combat these terrorists coming across our border.
Strengthen ties with Fox? Uh huh. Right. We'll get right on it.
"It has become nearly impossible for people from Muslim countries to get visas to come to Mexico since the Sept. 11 attacks."
Precisely what we should be doing, IMO!
Honest to God, how do we do that? We have taken millions of his poor, criminals and dregs of the Mexican society into our own country, paying their bills from the cradle to the grave. We've allowed open borders to the point that we have allowed Muslim terrorists free reign - and our politicians have even lied to us about this, saying its not true, and then passing a law to silence our border patrol.
Our open borders policy has endangered many lives of Americans, and possibly those of our politicians, all because of the fear of angering Fox.
We have allowed unrestricted illegal immigration to the point that our culture is in deep trouble of surviving. Our grandchildren will be living in a 3rd world hell, because of our politicians kissing up to Fox. We have sacrificed our future freedom and a Constitution which has kept us a free people for over 200 years, in order for politicians here to buy cheap votes and cheap labor, making them ripe for charges of treason if Americans had any sense, which they don't.
We have brought this menace on ourselves, as our politicians have sucked up to Fox to the detriment of our nation and its future.
We need soldiers on the border to keep everyone out. Enough Mexicans already! Enough open borders!
We must work to have a good relationship with the government (encourage a more democratic govt. as Fox is almost singlehandedly trying to do) and build from there. Be firm but use stick and carrot.
