IF al Qaeda wants to strike on U.S. soil be fore the elections, it still has available to it a gaping loophole it exploited pre-9/11: Saudis' easy access to U.S. visas.
Despite supposed reforms implemented by the State Department, current statistics obtained by this columnist reveal that nearly 90 percent of all Saudi visa applicants get approved.
The General Accounting Office, the investigative arm of Congress, found in an October 2002 report that "consular officers in Saudi Arabia issued visas to most Saudi applicants without interviewing them, requiring them to complete their applications or providing supporting documentation.

Unless the Saudis are coming here with crude in the suitcase, why would we even let them in?
Don't they have holy cities that are free of pig-monkey infidels and demon Jooooos. Why would they come to, since we are the great satan, hell?
I get sick and tired of welcoming people who hate and despise us.
Would you invite someone, who hates you and who's "god" commands them to kill/enslave you, to guest at your house?

That's why nearly 90 percent who apply still get approved. But they also to get a Saudi exit visa first. What are the approval rates on that?

Amazing how we tighten up the visa and entrey requirements from countries like Finland and Brazil, which has never sent a terrorist to our soil, yet we continue to kiss up to Our Friend, the Saudis, who sent 15 of the 19 9-11 hijackers.
Dealing with Saudi has been one of Bush's failures in the WoT.

Too bad that 90% of Poles, Chileans, Filipinos, Batswana, or Mexicans can't get visas. If we let just about any random guy from a country that we ought to know is infested with terrorists of the worst kind come to America, then how do we justify giving such a hard time to people who genuinely love America and who are less prone to such nefarious activity as making war upon us? (Yes, I do realize that there are common criminals especially among Mexicans who want access to this country, but even they never kill a few thousand of us in a single day.)
So do we have "affirmative action" for "enemies of the United States" with a history and intent to slaughter us en masse? If so, isn't this self-genocidal? But what does the State Department care; they've already endorsed the Kerry presidency wholeheartedly, unaware that it never shall come.

All visas held by subjects of the al-Saud family should have been cancelled on 9/11/01, and no new ones should have been issued since that date without a showing of critical benefit to the United States from the presence of the alien on US soil.

The State Dept stole -and is stealing- US Patent applications
to give them to their many many sponsors (NOT AMERICA).
What evil lurks near the heart of America?

Dealing with Saudi has been one of Bush's failures in the WoT.
One of many. There remains, for instance the problem of our "imaginary" borders. ...the U.S. Embassy in Riyadh sent a cable to Washington advocating a re-loosening of restrictions on Saudi visas.
Bush and Powell probably went along with it.

Yes, that is another failure in the WoT: Open Borders.
Saudi was also exempt among 18 other Mohammedan countries, where their citizens had to register with the Feds. I wonder if that's still the case...

Answering my own question: Saudi visa applications are down 70% since 9/11. The article didn't mention that.

What al Qaida has failed to do with its terror
Saudi Arabia has accomplished with it's checkbook
Our borders are still open...our commercial pilots unarmed.....
And the Muslims have successfully invaded...they build mosques, Islamic centers and summer camps accross America
And our leaders are still selling us they are a 'religion of peace'.....
CAIR the Wahabbi Lobby is still operating right out in the open....
The Muslim invasion has simply bought off our leaders...plain and simple
The two party cabal has wisely put up that putz Kerry as our only other choice...
The Republican Party of today has the same general direction of the radical left of 25 yrs ago
The Democrats are simply rabid haters of the America of our Founders...
Our only consolation is that we are headed off the cliff at 25 mph rather than 90 mph
imo

With 15 of the 19 hijackers and continued al Qaeda bombings and beheadings, the question must be asked: What additional evidence does State need before deciding to enforce the law?
Hrm, I wonder why this administration doesn't want to offend the Saudis. Could be a million reasons. But it doesn't matter as long as 9 out of 10 people from the country where 15 of 19 hijackers came from are still allowed a free pass into the country.
