This has nothing to do with the thread, but just now on Fox they showed film of Kerry in Florida today touring hurricane damange. He said, "What you see here is inspirational. And I am inspired by it."

What does that mean?

Part of his Genghis Khan fantasy. HIs hero.

I think the locals would rather see Jimmy Carter...

The hurricane damage is inspirational to Kerry because it looks a lot better than his campaign right now.

It means he is praying and hoping that a national disaster, perpetrated by al queaida comes along to save his sorry ass... something he can blam on bush.

but even if it did... it wont work.
rally around the president in a time of war or tragedy... is a law of physics.

kerry's internal poll numbers must be looking like shit.
too good, so let's hope he keeps on protesting... the more he does, the more america sees, notices and thinks: "no thanks arsehole".

That is truly bizarre.

(Off subject: On your Home Page you say that among your hobbies are your boxers. You might consider make it more clear you're refering to your dogs. At least I hope that's what you were referring to, and not your, ahem, boxers. LOL.)

It means absolutely nothing. Also, I noticed the dork had his sleeves unbuttoned and flopping. The elderly people he was with were looking around and semed tired and not in the mood to be told their hardships were *inspirational* to this drop-in in a fresh, pressed, long-sleeved shirt. It is 90 and humid, there.

IIRC, W was listening to people and nodding and getting them some help, not using the disaster to talk about himself. F'n could have jetted to DC and gotten Edwards to co-sponsor some sort of huge relief bill. He could have jawboned the rest of Senate to join them in this sort of response. But, noooooooooooooooo......

I believe Dave Barry referred to the theme of the Democrat convention as "Becoming strong through strength and strengthening through strongness" or some such thing. It was very funny.
