He probably took his cue from Algore, who tried to disenfranchise the military in 2000

The FEC declined to rule on 527s (the groups running these ads) until after the election.

I don't think the FEC can rule on this complaint before ruling on the 527s.

So Kerry surely knows this. Is he trying to make it appear that he's attacking the validity of the ads, by going thru this stupid motion, since he knows he can't bring it to court (since it's true)

This is seriously the biggest mistake yet. In any hearing his entire service record would be prime evidence. Can we say "SF-180 no longer required" ?

There's one reason for this: the ads are working.

And there's no credible response to the facts presented.

"There are Americans in Hanoi"

Yeah Kerry's cousin. That's why he sold the POW's down the river so his cousin could make money through the reopening of relations between the U.S. and Vietnam.

I feel slightly nauseous at this. They really WILL stop at nothing to get into power. How high will they take the fight, and what will it cost us if they get what they want?

----------

The Dems have been steadily ratcheting up their vile rhetoric and tactics since Florida. Gonna get uglier yet. Can you begin to imagine the hateful post-election vitriol from them and their allies in the media when they lose?

I am no longer willing to think we just have a difference of opinion.

I love it when you talk like that.

Viet Vet in Augusta GA,

Kerry's "internal polls" must be radioactive at this point.

Obviously, ABC-CBS-CNN-NBC-NYT won't be pestering the Kerry/Edwards campaign for either lurid details of those polls, or for that matter, full release of Kerry's Medical-Military-Dovorce records.

And fortunately, with the NEW MEDIA, Joe and Susie Public CLEARLY see right through Kerry's hoopla.

Time for a Pizza and a Cold Beer ...

Hey, AIT, thought you might like this...I got another Kerry email from a USMC retired...said it was going around at Kerry's VFW flop. I'm on a layover and will be leaving shortly, so have a great day one and all...

>>>>LOSER KERRY JOKE ALERT>>>> One sunny day in 2005, an old man approached the White House from across Pennsylvania Avenue, where he'd been sitting on a park bench. He spoke to the Marine standing guard and said, "I would like to go in and meet with President Kerry. " The Marine replied, "Sir, Mr. Kerry is not President and doesn't reside here. " The old man said, "Okay," and walked away. The following day, the same man approached the White House and said to the same Marine, "I would like to go in and meet with President Kerry". The Marine again told the man, "Sir, as I said yesterday, Mr. Kerry is not President and doesn't reside here." The man thanked him and again walked away.. The third day, the same man approached the White House and spoke to the very same Marine, saying "I would like to go in and meet with President Kerry." The Marine, understandably agitated at this point, looked at the man and said, "Sir, this is the third day in a row you have been here asking to speak to Mr. Kerry. I've told you already that Mr. Kerry is not the President and doesn't reside here. Don't you understand?" The old man answered, "Oh, I understand. I just love hearing it." The Marine snapped to attention, saluted, and said, "See you tomorrow Sir". >>>LOL<<< God bless America, our troops and George W. Bush...

Classic! Thanks for posting it!

This is seriously the biggest mistake yet...

He put his Vietnam record in play at the convention and now he's really focusing attention on it.

Not a real smart thing to do because his critics now have all of the advertizing they could want.

He should never have put his Vietnam record in play. What a Bozo. Hilary could have told that.

Is he trying to make it appear that he's attacking the validity of the ads

I believe that's it in a nutshell.

The dems are counting on the public not being aware of the FEC's decision not to hear complaints on 527s until after the election. When this isn't taken up, Kerry will complain that the FEC is run by Bush.

We may want to start calling talk radio shows and writing letters to the editor about this. As long as Kerry can get away with it, he'll avoid addressing the charges made by the SVFT, and will attack the men instead.

I'm thinking also that by the end of a week, if there still are any swing voters out there, then they must surely be brain dead and probably shouldn't vote anyway.

I'd almost bet he cancels.
