From the Drudge linked MyWay AP article by David Espo, at http://apnews.myway.com/article/20040820/D84J6PEO0.html: [Kerry Spokesperson Stephanie] Cutter sought to turn the argument over presidential readiness back on the White House. "Mr. McClellan needs to understand that John Kerry is not the type of leader who will sit and read 'My Pet Goat' to a group of second graders while America is under attack," she said.
Did she go on to say that Kerry would immediatly swing his fabulously expensive yacht around and drive it into the beach where he would shoot a nearly naked twelve year-old in the back with a rifle? Just wondering.

It's hard to even get on their site, and I assume some of that of that is because of donations. I just gave my fourth, and plan to give my 5th donation as soon as I can get on. I hope they have all the free clerical help they need, because they are going to have an avalanche of donations (I hope).
Everyone, strike a blow for freedom and for honest, brave Americans. Go support the SwiftVets by donating as much as you can afford.
In the interest of helping these guys as much as we possibly can, try to get on the site only during really off-peak hours, either late at night or early in the morning.

Hell, the kids from that school in "Red Dawn" could take 95% of the people with whom I come into contact. "Red Dawn" was my favorite movie when I was a teen. I think that there still is plenty of "pioneer spirit" left in America. I still can't believe that movie slipped out of hollyweird.

LOL! They need more than loose associations to prove violation of the law. They need hard evidence of collusion, which I see they don't have.

Now we have to say inside the OODA loop. What we need now is an effort from another direction, give them two things to HAVE to think about. Political Vertical Envelopment.
Yup and the RNC convention is just the ticket!

The current level of leftist extremism bites them in ways they can't predict. They were the party of Dean this year, but opted for the 'electable' candidate. But they mistook faux-erudition and empty doubletalk blather for seriousness in Kerry. His long protected stint in the most liberal state in America prevented a thorough vetting of his record earlier in his career. So he was a time bomb allowed into the Dem slot, just waiting to explode late when it does them damage.
This episode will do further damage to Kerry as the public sees his MO when the heat is on. He is acting rashly and digging himself deeper into a hole. It's like he could choose between doing just the right thing and just the wrong thing at a critical moment, and his instincts push him toward the wrong thing, and more so as the stakes get higher and the odds get lower.
This trait is the quickest way for a CIC to put our country into deep, deep doo-doo in the current situation. There will be a need for our next CIC to make some fast chess moves when the tectonic plates of geopolitics start to rumble again. Kerry is not the man I want shaping the fallout of the coming earthquakes.

That's an incredible quote by Kerry about why he requested the swift boats. This guy is such a loser.

MCPAIN IS A MORON TOO It's just disgusting how much mileage the other side has gotten out of McCain's remarks against the Swifties. Has McCain complained yet about the 63,000,000 dollars spent against Bush/Cheney in negative ads?

SCOTUS ruled on CFR (and found some of it legal -- damn the luck). You know, we have reached a sad day in our history when we have to rely on "luck" to have SCOTUS overturn what is clearly an infringement of our 1st amendment rights.
We wouldn't even be having this conversation if SCOTUS had ruled properly on CFR.

The President has the convention. It's his turn to bring up issues in front of the voters. Kerry is left swinging wildly.

Kerry has had every opportunity to defend himself against the charges made by the Swifties. HE hasn't done that because he can't.
His lies have caught up with him and that he's lied about so many things makes me question his mental health. Now I want his medical records.
AND, his military records, of course :-)
