And there is a problem with one of the accusers, a man named Thurlow whose account in this book and in this television commercial is contradicted by the official record of his own Bronze Star citation, which refers specifically to enemy fire. <<<<<<<<<<<<
Thats right, BUT, Thurlow, a young man, returns home after serving a FULL TERM OF DUTY, not four months, mind you, at least a YEAR in Country.
He goes to the (Reserve Office?) and is told he is to receive a medal, he goes to get it, and it talks about being under enemy fire, Thurlow knows he has been under enemy fire, and accepts the medal. He takes the medal and paperwork home to share with his family, puts it away, begins his life again.
What!?? he did not notice the exact DATE on the recommendation? He did not "say anything" at the time, he did not dispute that he was not under fire?
Good God! Of course he did not! He's a young man, been at war, happy to be home, happy to get a medal instead of spit upon! You think he stopped to say Oh, on thus and so date, I was at thus and so...gee, I better make sure I'm deserving of this medal after SERVING MY FULL TERM!
I hate kerry and McCain can kiss my double-A as well!
I watched Firing Line the other evening, and they talked of how awful the Swift Boat ad was, and right during a commercial they showed an ad of Kerrys boat and spoke of how brave Kerry was and then accused Bush of being AWOL. I say Screw them put the ads out there and let us be the judge, Kerry and his crying are the height of ignorance to me , he seems to believe anyhting his Millionaire George Soros does is ok, But dont let a Republican millionaire pay for an ad, Who the hell does Kerry think he is the whining crybaby , The United States does not need a whining crybaby for President.

Tom Oliphant is about as apolitical as John Kerry.
He admitted at the DNC PBS convention coverage that he has a daughter or something who works for the Kerry campaign.
I have more respect for him than most media, but he is still biased.
