Here's the newest ad from the Swifties.

Donated $25, best money spent on politics in my life!
I was born just as the Vietnam war was ending. Only one person in my extended family served for a time in Vietnam, and he had a cushy experience.
Yet this ad gave me goosebumps and almost had me in tears, because I know the meaning of truthfulness, honor, and patriotism. I also believe that the Ten Commandments came from God. And He warns us not to bear false testimony against our neighbor. What Mr. Kerry said is incredulous; it is so bewildering how he could have said those things.
No, they just mention his words. They do not endorse or oppose the candidate. Under CFR, its perfectly legal. And THAT's what gives it such punch is it doesn't look or sound like a typical political ad at all.
I think the first ad was part of an effort to get visibility. In any campaign, you save you biggest stuff for last. Which means, Kerry better watch out!
You're a good lady QE. This ad makes me feel that way, too.
I agree. Best investment I ever made as well. This ad is truly awesome. It's what I've been waiting for with regards to Mr. War "Hero."
The stake-through-the heart:
He gave the communists for free the untruths we resisted torture to admit.
I think you have nailed it pretty good!
Amazing Ad!!!!! And in his own words. McPain is not going to be happy!!!!
Bring IT ON!!!!!!!
One silver star.
The response will be, "It's 30 years old, why dredge up the past," along with handful after handful of doodoo to smear the vets. Kerry will fall back on his "Unfortunate youthful overenthusiasm." The NYT will carry his water. Many more papers will ride on the back of NYT. But it won't work.
What the hell were they thinking?
Do you get the impression that the Marxists are feeling relevancy slipping from the grasp? They seem as though they are desperately trying to consolidate power in a last gasp push for their agenda. That is before the Marxist baby boomer idiots are gumming oatmeal, sitting around in Depends.
Joe Lockhart will say:
"We didn't reopen these deep wounds, the Bush campaign did.
Therefore we sadly must fully vet (for the 3000th time) Bush's AWOL charges.
Why can't Bush show where he was..."
In the words of JFK, "Bring it on!" LOL
Donated another $25 just now, total $75. I love these SBVT guys for all they are doing for the rest of us Vietnam vets who have been slandered for so many years by Kerry and his ilk.
Kerry's group is correct, the ad is being supported by Texas republicans....me and my $25.00.
the libs act shocked on TV when Swifties say that Kerry's words 30 years ago are what motivate these men. Rather than believe/admit this, they focus on the fact that some Republican donated 200K to this effort. What did they expect, a Dean Democrat to give big bucks to this????
I loved hearing him speak, reminds me of Jim Backus doing Mr. Magoo.
A prominent scholar and theologian teacher of mine (an SJ if you must know) always pronounced it Jhen-gis, 'j' then hard 'g'. I guess we should call him what his mother called him
