So are you saying that would not include Jews who have abandoned there faith? It seems to me all people could claim a genetic link with the exception of Asians..
Err... Israel IS in Asia. Jesus and his disciples AND St. Paul were all Asians. There have been steady links across Eurasia and north africa stretching from England to India to Morocco to Russia since millenia. If you mean Orientals, then you are still inaccurate as the separation point -- the Gobi desert was breached on both sides at least 2000 years ago. The only folks who cannot claim to being descended from Abraham in bloodline are pure native Americans who were separated from the old world quite some time ago
When I brought up Jesus I did necause I have read that many of his followers are part of the 12 lost tribes of Israel scattered about the earth...
No. Jesus came to ALL of humanity, not just to Abraham's descendents. To try and narrow HIS message down to one bloodline is to debase HIS teachings.

No. Jesus came to ALL of humanity, not just to Abraham's descendents. To try and narrow HIS message down to one bloodline is to debase HIS teachings. Jesus states during his ministry that he is come not but the the lost sheep of the house of Israel. That was HIS ministry and that of the Apostles until the calling of Paul when the doors of heaven were opened by Christ through Paul to the Gentiles. This begins in Acts 9. So, this may just be a contextual misunderstanding. It is easy to fall into the trap of overgeneralizing in debate and discussion.
