THK: My Hubby's Unqualified "Teresa Heinz Kerry, America's would-be First Lady, reinforced her reputation for blunt speaking yesterday by admitting that her husband was not qualified to hold the office," reports the Times of London: "I think nobody is truly qualified to be President of the United States," she said, displaying the plain speaking that has become her trademark, a possible liability for John Kerry's campaign. "I mean, are you qualified to run the world . . . not run it, but have that influence? No, nobody is," she said in the latest edition of Reader's Digest. . . . Her honesty apparently fell flat with Reader's Digest, which said that the message she left hanging in the air was: "Vote for John. He's less poorly qualified than the other guy."

If he makes it (God forbid) he would be a total disaster, but at least she would give us four years of comedy is portraying him for the doofus he is.
Let's remember that Therezzzzzza was a Republican, even registered as one, as recently as 2001. Perhaps deep down, she knows W is a better guy than her girly-man hubby.
Not that we (the GOP) want her either, she's a nutball...
On a side note, shooting yourself in the foot hurts.
That's the first thing she has said that's worth repeating.
I, for one, am getting to appreciate her more each day. Oh, she's insane, but hey, what fun.
Licorice: "Listen, Lovey, my savior, John Kerry, saved ME.".
It must suck being a gigolo sometimes. When your wife is the one with the money, you just have to put up with this kind of crap and keep your mouth shut.
Anyway, politics aside, she speaks an opinion that is true: no human can claim to be be "truly" qualified to run a country. There's no such thing as a perfect leader. This is not a rebuke to anyone, just another perspective.
I get this feeling underneath she hope Kerry loses. Just a wierd feeling I have.
Asked, "Might U.S. wrongdoing have motivated [the] 9/11 attacks?" more than half of {San Francisco} Democrats, 51%, said yes. (So did 17% of Republicans and 45% of independents.)
"Somehow, they always blame America first," Jeane Kirkpatrick said in her celebrated 1984 speech about the "San Francisco Democrats." If John Kerry becomes president next January, we will be led by a man who belongs to a party in which the majority view is that Osama bin Laden's terrorism is America's fault.
LOL. Iam always on the lookout for little licorice and his sage words of wisdom.
Scary thought, but that's the fundamental insight of the Founding Fathers: nobody is really wise enough to do the whole job, so vest power in different groups representing different interests, use checks and balances. Hamilton: "Men are ambitious, vindictive, and rapacious."
Nonetheless, it's not the kind of thing you say in a campaign season, is it? Precisely because that's when people are at there most "Ambitious, vindictive, and rapacious."
True enough. I mainly had a bunch of her more serious gaffes in mind. It's fine to be strongly opinated, but if your spouse were running for office, wouldn't you try to come up with some better responses than hers?
Sorry you left California!
So, why DID Bin Laden target the US and not another country?
ping
You know, it just hit me why these two got married. They are both CERTIFIABLY NUTS!

Convenient that JK has such a tall forehead; probably has spent a lot of time slapping his hand against it, shaking his head, saying things like: "I know it's technically true, but..."
Disagree. He's greedy. She's a dingbat.
