I would hope for a popular revolution in Iran by the democracy supporters, but in these times it's hard to say what will happen. Things just don't work out like you expect all of the time.
I think our war on terror would be greatly improved by taking some sort of action to undermine or depose the leadership in Iran.

If this happens do you think America we go alone or via UN or coalition. If coalition do not know if UK would want to be involved as we do quite a lot of trade with Iran. The company I work for in the last 2 - 3 about a quarter of our turnover has been with Iran.
I email Iran probably at least once a week and interestingly enough I have a great worker relationship with 2 Iranian men who are our company's representatives in Iran who treat me with great respect and have no problems dealing with a woman and in fact we are on first names terms.

Not to frighten everyone but I read on my Naval Intelligence board that Iran is threatening to attack the US - but means our troops nearby, not the Continental US - if we continue to make noises about them working on or having nuclear weapons.
I can see it now.
The bay doors open on a US Air Force jet - and 9 of the Iran locations where nuclear fissionable material is made are gone. Poof!
If they send up jets, I'm sure they'll get shot down before they hit the Iran border.
The US response will be quick and surgical.
