When you're retired, out of uniform..you're a civilian..the military salute is for serving active duty..and we wom't go into the different services regs about saluting indoors, or under "cover", or not..if you ever go into a VFW post, many of the guys will toss a pseudo salute..it's like a handshake..and that's fine..it's cameraderie..but Kerry, the pissant, was descending the airplane step, like it was AF one...and he RETURNED the salute..to me, it was an isnult to the President as commander in chief..

I can understand how you feel about that. I have family membersa who are veterans and a niece and nephew who are currently serving in the military.
I feel Kerry is insulting them all.

Ahhhh, thank you, ken. That's what I thought. And that makes it all the more insulting to the military when Kerry salutes.

Kerry has no scruples. He's an arrogant bore with no appreciation of those who risked all to serve our country. yes, I know he 'served' but he didn't *really* serve, ya know?
