Eve Ensler takes her act to New York. Is this what they mean by "swing voters?"
The Rush Limbaugh Show/news item read on his show

Alright, I'm not even sure how to go about posting this baby, especially considering the delicate nature of the subject matter. So, I'll attempt to tread as lightly as possible, without offending anyone's sensibilities and hopefully, without incurring the wrath of the omnipotent Admin Moderators.
Earlier today, I was listening Rush's program, when I heard him read an item about Eve Ensler's most recent effort to energize the supposedly disenfranchised women's vote.
She hopes to do this by staging yet another "V Day" celebration, on this occasion, one specifically tailored to increase voter turnout among single, urban, putatively liberal woman who would otherwise not participate in the upcoming presidential election.
Of course, "Hanoi" Jane Fonda is serving as Ms. Ensler's field commander-pardon the language, but that's the only analogy that immediately springs to mind-in this little endeavor and she has gathered together a veritable galaxy of clueless B-list celebrities to join in the cause.
I'm curious as to what you folks think about this little spectacle.
Will John Kerry be swept into office on a "V" shaped tide? Or, will the best efforts of dimwitted liberal playwrights/artists fall on deaf ears?
Let the debate begin!

You get the satisfaction of having posted an article that interested you. My thread a couple of days ago only ran about 24 posts, but that's fine.

Thank you very much! (Their pictures are on the Tax-chick page.) James R. is 7 months old today, and just figured out that if he rolls over in the same direction several times, he's moved across the room!

You have a beautiful family, and I hope others will check out your page. At this stage of my life, I often roll across the floor also.

Thanks again ... (successfully fished for compliment :-).
I have to take my cat to the vet first thing in the morning, so it's time to close up here. Y'all have a great evening!

Chicks are looking for security, while men are looking for sex. If the chicks are sufficiently worried about American security, i.e., their own personal security, they'll probably trend toward Bush.
If, however, they've forgotten the horror of 9/11 they will vote for the gigolo.

That's a good point.
I think that I had one thread that only lasted about two dozen posts before it was yanked by the Admin Moderator.
The shortest though, had to be the thread related to a planning meeting this group of freepers was supposed to have in preparation for a rally during the Rep. Nat'l Con.
Somehow, I ran afoul of the organizer of that event, therefore my thread was immediately pulled.
Oh well.

Thanks for the ping! You did good. This is a cool thread. LOL Fonda is a part time NM resident and she was in Albuquerque last week "helping register disadvantaged women to vote." I'm so glad she came to help. </ sarcasm>

Ugh.
I can imagine how thrilled they are to have "Hanoi" Jane in their midst.
I'm still amazed that the fundamentally decent residents of Utah put up with that pretentious, arrogant schmuck Robert Redford.
