You're wrong. They have NOTHING WHATEVER to gain by lying. They're not out to get President Bush reelected, that's a Kerry campaign talking point. Not accusing you, it's just that you might be absorbing it without knowing it.
They're out to regain THEIR HONOR, STOLEN BY MEN LIKE HANOI JOHN KERRY WITH THEIR LIES AND COOPERATION WITH THE ENEMY. THEY BELIEVE IN THEIR HEARTS OF HEARTS HE IS A TRAITOR TO HIS BROTHERS IN ARMS AND A TRAITOR TO HIS COUNTRY, WHO CONTINUES BETRAYING BOTH HIS BROTHERS IN ARMS AND SECURITY OF THIS COUNTRY TO THIS DAY. THIS HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH SIMPLE POLITICS.

Kerry's been a senator for how many years? And yet this issue never came up during any of his Senate campaigns? (Didn't at least one of the Swift Boat vets actually speak favorably of Kerry during a previous Senate campaign?)
However, note that I totally agree with you that they are not trying to get President Bush reelected. They are trying to make sure that Kerry doesn't get elected. President Bush's reelection would be a secondary result.
